I finally quit setting up next week's pages on Sunday and it fixed my whole system
For about 8 months I did my weekly spread every Sunday night, and I kept quitting journals by week 3. Then I read a comment somewhere that said to set up the next week on Friday afternoon instead, so I tried it. The difference was silly: on Sunday I was guessing what my week would look like, but by Friday I already knew which meetings got moved and which errands actually happened. Now I pencil in the new spread at 4pm Friday before I leave the office (I'm an accountant, so Friday afternoon is dead anyway) and I fill in real stuff, not wishes. My last journal lasted 5 months, which is a record for me. Curious if anyone else sets up pages ahead of time, or do you all just flip to the next blank page and go?
