Chose a plain $8 notebook over the fancy $30 one, and my dailies finally stick
I was burning 20 minutes a night decorating spreads in an expensive journal in Denver, so I grabbed a cheap grid notebook from the drugstore and now I just write three lines a day with zero guilt, has anyone else found that cheaper paper keeps them more consistent?
Did you see that study about how people who track their habits in cheap notebooks stick with them longer than people using fancy planners? Makes sense to me, since the pressure to make it look nice is what kills the routine. Once the page stops being precious, you just write the three lines and move on.
