Warning: paid $60 for a budgeting app that did what a free spreadsheet already did
I tried a budgeting app last month after a coworker in Austin kept talking it up. It charged me $60 for the year upfront and then asked me to link every account, and half the links kept breaking. When I finally got it working, the app just showed me the same numbers my free Google Sheet did years ago. I canceled on day 9 and only got $30 back because of their refund window. Has anyone actually kept one of these paid apps long term, or did you go back to a plain sheet like me?
