Switched from wet saw to a snap cutter for straight cuts for stone veneer

I used to drag my wet saw out for every single stone cut even straight ones. Last month I borrowed a buddy's snap cutter for a 40 foot wall job. It cut my time in half easy and no muddy slurry to clean up. The snap cuts were just as clean as the wet saw for straight lines. Has anyone else made the switch or do you still stick with the wet saw for everything?

And the cleanup thing is huge, nobody talks about how much time you waste just hosing down the slab and squeegeeing mud out of your work area. I did a whole basement wall last weekend with the snap cutter and I was packing up 20 minutes after the last piece went up. The only downside I've found is you gotta be real careful about how you support the stone on the cutting bed, if it's got a funny curve on the back it'll snap wrong every time. But for straight cuts on flat stone, man I'm never going back to that wet saw either.

You know what, that 20 minute cleanup is no joke. I timed myself once after a wet saw job and it took almost 45 minutes just to get the slurry off the driveway and rinse out the catch bucket. Plus my back was killing me from hunching over that thing all day. I've been thinking about getting a snap cutter for smaller jobs but I'm worried about that uneven back issue you mentioned. I had a piece of flagstone last month that was all warped and I can already hear it cracking wrong in my head.
