Vent: my 6 month old calathea threw a fit after I moved it 4 feet closer to the window
Leaves curled up like tacos within a week and I panicked and moved it back to the exact same spot by the bookshelf, so now I'm stuck wondering if the plant is just dramatic or if I actually cooked it with that extra afternoon sun and whether anyone else has a houseplant that punishes them for trying to help.

Sounds like the plant just needed time to adjust, not a spot change.
