Vent: I judged people who talk to their plants until I heard a guy at Hirt's in Cleveland
I always rolled my eyes at folks who name their ferns and say good morning to them, felt a little silly to me honestly. But last Saturday I was at Hirt's Gardens in Cleveland and this older guy told his fiddle leaf fig 'you're doing great, buddy' and then explained to me that he checks on it the same time each day, which is really just a watering routine with extra steps. I tried it with my pothos for 2 weeks and I stopped forgetting to water it, so maybe the talking part is just a reminder trick. Does anyone else set a daily plant check time, or am I just late to something everyone knew?
