Spent almost 3 weeks trying to get a stubborn pothos cutting to root in water
I took a cutting from my mom's pothos back in April and dropped it in a mason jar on the kitchen sill, thinking it would root in a week like everyone says. Two and a half weeks went by with zero roots and the leaf was getting limp, so I moved it to a warmer spot and swapped the water every other day, still nothing. Turned out the jar was getting too much direct afternoon sun through the window and the water was staying too warm. I stuck it in a shadier spot near the sink and saw the first little nub about 4 days later. Has anyone else had a cutting sit there doing nothing forever before it finally took off, or am I just impatient?
