My new grow light made my pothos go totally crazy

I got a cheap LED panel from a local garden center and after two weeks, the vines grew almost a foot and started putting out leaves twice the normal size. Has anyone else had a plant react that strongly to just a light change?

My old monstera put out a leaf the size of a dinner plate after I moved it under a basic Sansi bulb. It was in a north facing window before and just sat there for a year. The right light really is the main thing they need.

Guess I should stop blaming my plants for being lazy and look at my light setup, huh? My poor pothos probably thinks it lives in a cave. Sounds like you and JamesRoberts have the right idea.

Honestly, my snake plant did the same thing after I finally gave it a decent grow light.
