Update: hit 500 books in my press and noticed something weird about my wrists
Logged book number 500 in my binding journal on Tuesday. Sat down with the last five years of notes and saw that my pressing time per book dropped from 40 minutes to about 22, which felt great until I looked at the injury column. Three rounds of wrist pain in the first 200 books, none in the last 300. I think it's because I quit rushing the nipping press and started letting the glue set overnight in the garage. Curious if anyone else tracks their numbers and found a habit that quietly saved their hands.
