Ugh, yes! My group started doing the same thing, just nodding along to avoid any real arguments.

Wait they're just nodding now? That completely kills any chance for a real talk. It turns every meeting into a pointless echo chamber where nothing gets better. I'd lose my mind if my team did that with big decisions. You can't fix problems if everyone pretends they don't exist. The whole point of a group is to have different views.

Jason's bit about avoiding real arguments got me thinking. Sometimes a chill vibe is better than constant debate. Not every book needs to be a fight club.
