Unpopular opinion: My neighbor thought boilermaking was just about cooking pasta

He saw my gear in the truck. Asked if I was a chef. Said his pot leaked once. Offered me a spaghetti recipe. I explained it was for metal boilers. He looked confused. Then asked if I could fix his kettle. For free. I just walked away laughing.

How do people mix that up? It shows a real lack of basic job knowledge. That neighbor is just clueless.
