The guy who asked me to forge him a spatula for his cat

Last month at a demo in Portland, this older fella walks up and asks if I could make a tiny spatula for flipping his cat's food because it kept sticking to the bowl. I laughed, but he was dead serious, so I whipped one up in 20 minutes from scrap steel. He paid me with a handshake and a six-pack of cheap beer, and I still wonder if that cat actually uses it. Has anyone else gotten weird custom orders from strangers?
