Binged a 12-season dramedy in 9 days and now I feel empty
I started this show on a rainy Saturday with zero expectations, figured I'd watch an episode or two while eating cereal. Then I looked up and it was 3am on Tuesday and I was on season 8 with my third bag of popcorn. The thing that got me though was seeing a forum post where someone said the last season ruins the whole arc, and honestly after finishing it yesterday I think they might be right. The characters changed so much by season 12 that it felt like a different show, but I couldn't stop anyway. Has anyone else pushed through a series way past its prime just because you'd already sunk 80 hours into it? What do you do with that weird letdown feeling when it's finally over?
