TIL a $45 bearing press kit from Amazon saved my hub overhaul, but the $19 one before it stripped two axles
Spent the cheap money first and ruined a Shimano rear hub on a customer's commuter bike after the press bent sideways on the third cup. Dropped $45 on a proper drift set with a guide rod and did four hubs back to back without a hiccup. Anybody got a press kit brand they trust for sealed cartridges, or am I just stuck buying the mid tier stuff forever?
