That one Tuesday where every bike in the shop fought back

Last week in Denver, I had a day straight out of a bad dream. Started with a customer's commuter that had a stripped bottom bracket shell, then a carbon frame where the seatpost was fused in so bad I snapped my favorite Park Tool extractor. By noon, I had three flat fixes that all had hidden glass shards in the tires, and one e-bike that kept throwing error codes no matter how many times I reset the battery. The kicker was a brand new group set that came with a bent derailleur hanger out of the box, which took me 45 minutes to realize wasn't my fault. Has anyone else had a day where you just wanted to lock the door and go home before 2pm?
