Found the volume button on my phone case works for turning pages in my e-reader app

Been reading ebooks in bed for years. Kept having to tap the screen which jiggles the phone or wakes my partner. Last week I figured out the volume rocker on my case flips pages forward and back. Been doing that for 5 nights now and it's way easier on my wrists. Has anyone else found a hidden shortcut on their phone that made bedtime better?

Same thing happened to me last month and now I can't go back. Lying on my side with the phone flat on the mattress flipping pages with my thumb is a total game changer for late night reading.

Oh man, I was totally the opposite for years. I always thought low brightness was the only way to go and anything else was overkill. Then my roommate showed me the blue light filter trick and I was like "nah that's extra." But I finally tried it during a late night binge read last week and wow. I can actually read for two hours without my eyes feeling like sandpaper now. Still keep the brightness low too but the filter is a game changer for sure.

Turning the brightness all the way down and using a blue light filter made a huge difference for me, stopped the eye strain completely.
