Wasted $350 on a clipper that died in 4 months, should've stuck with my old corded one
Bought that fancy cordless model from the supply shop in Newark back in March, motor gave out mid-fade on a Thursday and I had to finish with my backup trimmer, has anyone else had a cordless clipper just quit on them that fast or did I get a lemon?

Think about what you're really asking it to do. Four months of heavy daily use is a solid run for any cordless model, especially if the battery gets hot while charging. I've seen corded ones last years because there's no battery to cook, but cordless trade-offs are pretty standard. Did you check if it's still under warranty, because most of those Newark shop clippers come with a 6 month one?
