Hold up, they did your niece's first haircut on a family discount day? That's actually kind of amazing. Ngl, I always figured those days were just for boring trims or something. A first haircut is a huge deal, like a whole event with pictures and everything. Doing it on a discount day turns it into this special family thing instead of just another errand. Honestly changes how I see those promotions now.

Actually, a lot of places have rules against using first haircuts on those promo days, @the_kim. It's cool that yours did it, but policies really vary. They often see it as a special service that takes more time and care. Always worth calling to ask first so no one gets disappointed. Still, it's a nice idea when a salon makes that exception for families.
