Rant: hit client number 2,000 today and my hands hurt more than my back
Just passed 2,000 heads in my chair since opening the doors 4 years ago, and the number that got me was the 12 repeat guys from my first month who still sit down every 3 weeks. Kinda wild that a little spot off 9th street built that. Any other one chair barbers keep a tally, or am I the only weirdo counting?
Man who actually keeps a head count? That sounds like a lot of work for a number nobody's asking for. 2,000 in 4 years just means you stayed open and people kept coming back, which is cool and all, but keeping a tally like it's a scoreboard feels like you're making it into a bigger deal than it is. The 12 repeat guys thing is the real story there, that just means you do good work and they trust you. The count itself? Eh, weirdo is a strong word but you did ask.
