How my clipper doodles turned into a regular request at the chair
I started drawing simple lines and shapes on practice heads just to break the monotony. One day, a regular client noticed and asked for a small design in his son's fade. Now, I get asked for custom clipper art a couple times a week, mostly from younger guys. It's a fun way to add a personal touch without making the cut take forever. I've even had a few barbers from nearby shops ask how I got started with it.

Saw a guy at the gas station with a full geometric design shaved into his car's door panel last week. Guess that style is really trickling out into everything now.

Wait, shaved into the door panel? That sounds intense. I mean, usually that kind of design is done with vinyl or paint, not actually shaving the metal. Geometric patterns have been around in car customization for years, like on old lowriders or import tuners. Maybe it's just me but I've seen similar stuff at local meetups forever. It's probably just trickling into more mainstream places now.

Oh man, that's too funny! From fades to car doors, it's like everyone wants a custom shave now. Pretty soon we'll see geometric patterns on toasters and refrigerators. I guess if you can clip it, you can design it, and now cars are getting haircuts too!
