Had to pick between a $200 clipper and a $50 one last month, I went cheap and now I'm paying for it every friday

@kevin_west I gotta push back a bit here, because cheap clippers can be a total headache even if you oil them. My $50 one started yanking hair after six months, and that's a rough way to spend a friday morning.

Disagree honestly. A $50 clipper can last years if you clean the blades and oil them

My $40 Wahl clipper has been going strong for 4 years now with just basic blade oil and a brush. People act like you need to spend $200 on stuff when half the time the motor burns out from never being cleaned anyway. A few drops of oil every couple months makes a huge difference.
