Faded a regular's hair for 3 years before he said something that stuck with me
He sat in my chair at the shop here in Dayton last month and mentioned he'd been driving 40 minutes past two closer shops because I was the first barber who asked how his son was doing. I've been trying to slow down and actually listen during cuts since then, even when the line is out the door. Any of you got a regular whose comment changed how you run your chair?
