My sourdough starter survived a fridge power outage for 6 days, shocked me
Lost power during a storm last Tuesday and forgot the starter in the back of the fridge. Checked after the 6th day expecting a science experiment, but it just had a thin gray liquid on top and smelled a little sharper. Stirred it, fed it twice, and it bubbled back like nothing happened. Anyone else had a starter bounce back from a close call like that?
