Melted butter ran off my counter into my shoe during a zoom call
I was letting butter soften for cookies near the edge of the counter and didn't notice the bowl cracked, so it dripped straight into my slipper and I only realized when my foot got cold halfway through a work meeting. Have you ever had a baking fail sneak up on you while you were doing something else entirely?

Keep cookie dough in the fridge next time, learned that after ruining a good pair of socks.
