My buddy said Troll 2 was better than The Room and now I don't know if I can trust him
So my friend Dave came over Saturday to watch bad movies and we got into a real argument about Troll 2 vs The Room. He swears Troll 2 is the better bad movie because the acting is worse, but I think The Room wins because Tommy Wiseau actually meant it as a serious drama. We went back and forth for like 40 minutes until his wife just left the room. Now I'm sitting here wondering if I've been wrong about ranking bad movies this whole time. What's your number one so bad it's good pick and why?

Comparing Troll 2 and The Room is kinda apples and oranges though. Troll 2 is a horror movie that fails at being scary, so the fun comes from how weird and off it all feels. The Room fails at being a drama about love and betrayal, which is why the weird parts hit so hard. Tommy Wiseau wrote, directed, and paid for that movie himself, so every strange choice is 100 percent him, and that's what makes it special. My pick is The Room for that reason, but your buddy isn't crazy for liking Troll 2.
