Saw a red tailed hawk take a pigeon off my fence on Tuesday morning
I was drinking coffee on the porch in Akron when it happened right in front of me around 7:15, feathers everywhere. Do hawks keep coming back to the same spot once they find easy food, or was that just a one time thing?

Hate that you had to see that mess first thing with your coffee, nature is brutal like that. Hawks do tend to swing back through an area once they know it's a good spot for an easy meal, so keep an eye on your fence. Sorry about the feathers all over your yard though.
