Watch out for washed out switchbacks on the Saddleback Trail this week

Got caught in the rain bands from that storm that hit last Friday and the switchbacks just below the Saddleback summit are starting to slide. Three of them have big chunks missing, and one spot dropped about 4 feet of trail in a 6 foot stretch. I turned around at the 3.2 mile mark rather than risk it solo with wet rock. Ranger at the parking lot said they are not marking it until next week. Has anyone else seen worse erosion up there, or is this just a seasonal thing?

Water bars at mile 2.8 channel runoff straight onto that section, it gets worse every spring.
