The AT section in Virginia that bored me for 3 days straight
Last spring I hiked 40 miles around the Priest and Three Ridges and honestly, the constant tunnel vision of green got so dull I almost skipped the whole state. Anyone else find the mid-Atlantic miles overrated compared to the Whites or the Sierras?

Three Ridges is a solid weekend hike but calling it boring because it's not the Whites is like complaining a burger isn't a steak. I did that stretch in 2021 and yeah, it's green, but the views from the Priest are nothing to sneeze at. You're comparing apples to oranges, different vibes for different hikes. Maybe the issue is you went in with the wrong expectations.
