Rant: Noticed folks at work splitting bills with apps now
Used to be a cash pile on the table. It feels like money just floats around digitally these days.

I love not carrying cash, honestly.

Man, it’s all Venmo requests now. Just last week, a bunch of us went out for lunch and it took fifteen minutes for everyone to get their phones out and sort it. Someone’s app wouldn’t connect, then the tip math got messy. I miss the simple cash pile... you throw in your twenty, get a few bucks back, and you’re done. This digital float makes everything feel less real.
