My spreadsheet formula fiasco left a client staring at 40 grand of fake profits
Last Tuesday in Orlando I 'fixed' a formula in our babble finance tracker and accidentally multiplied every expense row by 47, so the monthly recap showed a massive windfall. The client actually said 'this is fantastic' before I caught it, then I spent 3 hours rebuilding the sheet from backups. Has anyone else had a finance spreadsheet lie to them in a way that felt almost personal?

Tbh, my buddy once saw $12k in sales that never happened. Client almost quit.
