My auto-transfer to savings bounced and left me with a $35 overdraft

Last Friday I set up my checking account to sweep $150 into savings every payday, and it went through a day early and hit my account when the balance was only $112. Wells Fargo charged me $35 for the overdraft, then the transfer got reversed and the $150 never showed up in savings either. I called and sat on hold for 22 minutes to get the fee waived, and the rep said auto-transfers can fire before the deposit posts, which I never knew. Now I check my balance the night before payday and set a reminder to move money by hand. Has anyone found a bank or app that actually waits for the deposit to clear before pulling the transfer?
