I finally saw the huge shift in my portfolio after switching to dividend reinvestment
I started a small account with $500 back in January 2022, just buying random stocks I heard about on Reddit. Fast forward to last month, I switched to a dividend reinvestment plan with three solid ETFs that pay quarterly. My balance went from $2,100 to $2,800 in just 6 months without me adding a single new dollar. The compound effect on those tiny $12 payouts really added up way faster than I expected. Has anyone else seen this kind of pop when they turned on drip for their babble finance stuff?

Drip is the quietest money maker out there. Those tiny paychecks just keep buying more tiny paychecks. Feels like cheating when you check the balance after a year. Boring but that's how the rich stay rich, right?

DRIP is the real engine for small accounts. That $12 turning into $14 then $16 over a year adds up quicker than you think. It's boring but it works.

Bought my first stock with a $20 gift card from a relative. Felt dumb putting it into something so boring. But after a year of ignoring it, that little thing had bought itself a few more shares just by sitting there.
