Update: that intermittent GPS drop on N872SW finally showed up on the bench
Three weeks back I wrote off the GPS dropouts on N872SW as just a bad antenna location, and of course it flew fine every time I checked it. Last Tuesday it finally failed on the ground at the hangar in Wichita, and the culprit was a chafed coax run behind the aft rack that only lost signal under vibration. Took me 20 minutes with a wobble test to pin it down after 3 flights of chasing nothing. Anyone got a go-to way to force those intermittent connector faults out without flying the plane?
