Spent 6 hours chasing a flap disagree light on a King Air, turned out to be one loose cannon plug pin
Got called out to a King Air 200 at a ramp in Broomfield last Tuesday for a flap disagree light that only showed up in flight. I pulled the flap position sensor, swapped the proximity switch, and even ran a continuity check on the whole harness twice with no luck. Turned out pin 4 in the cannon plug behind the panel had backed out just enough to lose contact under vibration, no visible damage at all. Six hours and two parts later, a 30 second reseat fixed it. Anyone else get burned by cannon plug pins that look seated but aren't?
