I finally looked up how often the FAA actually busts people for bad logbook entries and it's way more than I figured
Was digging through the FAA's enforcement reports after a buddy got dinged and found out they handed out something like 40-some certificate actions for recordkeeping stuff in a single year, which floored me since everyone at the hangar acts like it's no big deal. I've been sloppy about signing off squawks on the bench, so now I'm second guessing my own paperwork. Anyone here actually get called out over logbook stuff, or is this more of a scare number than a real risk?
