Why does everyone skip the torque specs on aluminum pans?

I pulled a transmission last week from a 2015 F-150 and found three bellhousing bolts barely finger tight from a shop that 'specialized' in these trucks. Aluminum threads don't forgive that kind of shortcut, and one wrong ugga dugga turns a 30 minute job into a $400 helicoil repair. Are you guys actually following the book, or is this just me being old school about it?
