Just realized I wasted 4 years on hand tools for suspension work

Back in 2019 I bought a full set of those cheap pneumatic impacts from a pawn shop in Wichita and they never had the torque for lower control arm bolts, so I kept fighting with breaker bars and swearing until my knuckles bled. Last month I finally dropped $400 on a cordless impact and it zipped off the same bolt in seconds. Has anyone else burned years on stubborn hand methods before biting the bullet on something better?

Four years though? Sounds like you just had some junk tools and a lot of patience. I get that it's annoying, but you could have borrowed a nicer impact from a buddy or rented one from an auto parts store for a weekend and saved yourself the misery. Plus, half the time those cheap air impacts are fine if you actually let them spin up or use the right socket. Seems like a lot of drama for something you could've solved with a $30 trip to Harbor Freight and a longer breaker bar. But hey, if the battery one makes you happy, cool, just don't act like you survived a war back there.
