Why does nobody talk about the 3M Platinum Plus filler hardening up in the tube after just a month?

I bought a tube for a small dent on a 2021 Civic, left it in my shop for a few weeks, and now it's like trying to squeeze out concrete, which cost me $45 and a job.

Did you keep the cap on tight?

Honestly, probably not tight enough. That's always the mistake. A half turn feels fine until you find a puddle in your bag. Learned that the hard way with a travel mug last week.

Remember my old metal water bottle. Thought it was indestructible. Had it in my backpack with a loose lid on a hot day. Ended up with a soaked library book and a backpack that smelled like wet canvas for a month. That thing was never the same.
