That Thursday in Phoenix where every panel gap lined up

Had a week where nothing went right, 40 hours on a damn 2019 Silverado door. Then Thursday morning, first car in the bay was a Cadillac with rear quarter damage. Everything clicked, filler laid smooth, color matched on the second spray. Weird part is I didn't change anything, same gun, same booth. Makes me wonder if some days the shop itself just works with you or against you. Anyone else ever get a day where the metal behaves like magic for no reason?

can't explain it but I know exactly what you mean. some shifts the planets just align and every panel reads like it's begging you to fix it. other days you fight the same fender for three hours and it still looks like crap. worked a shop where the old timers swore the humidity or the phase of the moon mattered, and honestly after enough years you stop laughing at that. when it clicks like that you just ride the wave and pray Friday doesn't humble you.
