Showerthought: I thought that 'paintless dent repair' was just a gimmick until I saw it work on a 2022 Silverado.

A guy from Dent Wizard came to our shop in Boise and fixed a huge door ding in about 45 minutes without any filler or paint. I was ready to do a full panel, but he just used his rods and lights. Have any of you started using PDR for stuff you used to think was too big?

Yeah that "old-school brain short-circuited" feeling is so real. It's hard to let go of what you were taught was the only right way to fix something. Seeing the results in person is the only thing that changes your mind.

Honestly I was the same way, thought it was just for little hail dings. Then I watched a guy work a crease out of a quarter panel that I swore needed metal work. My old-school brain short-circuited for a minute.
