Had a nightmare day with a 2018 F-150 yesterday

Spent 6 hours trying to get the aluminum hood straight after a hail job, it kept oil canning no matter what I did. Anyone else hate working with aluminum or is it just me?

You've gotta use heat and an aluminum hammer and dolly set, that's the only way to keep it from oil canning. Did you try shrink disc or just hammer and dolly work?

Haven't found heat to be necessary myself, does the aluminum really transfer enough to matter?

Have you tried a torch on just the problem spots?
