A customer in Denver insisted I could buff out a quarter panel that was clearly creased
He kept pointing at the dent and saying 'just hit it with the buffer, it'll pop right out' like I was using magic. Honestly, I had to pull the interior panel and show him the folded metal from the inside before he believed me. Anyone else get customers who think bodywork is just polishing?

Maybe my buffer just needs more confidence, idk.

Tell customers that buffing only works on surface scratches, not dents. Faith_king is right, a magic buffer would be great but it's not real! Some people just don't get how body panels actually work until they see the damage inside.
