Stacking 200 frames of the moon finally made the craters pop for me

I used to just snap one shot with my phone through the eyepiece and call it a night, blurry mess every time. Last week I tried free stacking software with 200 frames from my DSLR and the difference is wild, what exposure settings do you guys start with?

Wait, you mean there’s a way to see craters without squinting at a fuzzy dot and pretending it’s the moon? I just aim for “less blurry than my last try” and call it good, but 200 frames sounds like actual effort.
