My star tracker died 20 minutes into the Perseids and I got 6 usable frames
I drove out to a dark site near Bend, Oregon last month for the Perseid peak with my star tracker and a fresh battery, and about 20 minutes in the motor just quit on me. I ended up stacking the 6 frames that came out clean before it died, and honestly they look better than I expected once I stretched them in Siril. Has anyone else had a tracker cut out mid shoot, and did you just shoot untracked after that or pack it in for the night?
