Clean shots from Arches are basically impossible after 10 AM

I drove out to the Windows section last Wednesday trying to get that classic Turret Arch shot, but by 9:45 there were 14 people standing right in my framing line, phones out and all. Tried waiting 20 minutes for a gap and one couple just set up a tripod directly in front of mine, so I packed up and left. Do you all just accept crowds as part of the hobby now, or is there some trick to finding the empty window between sunrise and the tour buses?

Try going in winter. I went to the Windows in January and had the whole place to myself at sunrise. Sure, it was 19 degrees and my fingers went numb, but I got Turret Arch with zero people in it. The crowds are a summer problem, not a photography problem. Everyone wants the easy trip, so the easy season is packed. You either deal with people or you deal with cold, and honestly the cold has never once stepped in front of my lens.
