That 3-minute phone call with the wrong number guy

I dialed a wrong number last Tuesday trying to reach my dentist, and this older guy just started telling me about his tomato plants like we were old friends. I tried to apologize and hang up, but he said, 'Hold on, you sound like you need a minute,' and we talked about how his vines got blight after 2 weeks of rain. Has anyone else had a total stranger turn a mess-up into something kind of nice, or did I just get lucky?

I called a pizza place once at 3am by accident and ended up getting life advice from the teenage guy working the counter about how to break up with my girlfriend. Your tomato guy sounds way more chill though, maybe wrong numbers are just the universe's way of giving us free therapy sessions.
