Paid $40 for a watermelon that was just a giant zucchini

Saw this huge "watermelon" at a roadside stand outside Nashville, looked perfect. Got it home, cut it open, and it was a giant zucchini painted green inside. Has anyone else fallen for a scam produce like that?

Wait did you really bite into it expecting watermelon and get a mouthful of zucchini? That's brutal but honestly I'd probably do the same thing if I was that hungry for summer fruit. You paid $40 for a science experiment gone wrong, that's like buying a ticket to a magic show and getting pickpocketed instead. At least you can still turn it into zucchini bread and pretend you planned it all along.
