Can we talk about the number of people who ask questions online?

I was reading a blog post about internet trends yesterday. It said over 8 million questions get posted to forums and Q&A sites every single day. Found that on a site called DataReportal. That number blew my mind. It's way more than I ever guessed. Anyone know where most of those questions actually come from?

Disagree with the help desk idea. Most questions I see are people trying to figure stuff out together, not just reporting problems. It's more like a giant, messy library where everyone can add a page. That number sounds about right when you consider how many people are online now. Feels less like a queue and more like a constant conversation.

Wow, that's a crazy number. I bet half of them are just me asking why my Wi-Fi keeps dropping. Makes you wonder if we're all just stuck in one big help desk queue.

My buddy spent three days online trying to fix his router before he found the right forum.
