My crew's new morning huddle actually stops us from wasting half the day

We spend five minutes planning and suddenly every job goes smoother.

Getting everyone on the same page first thing is key. Those five minutes probably stop the little miscommunications that normally eat up your morning. It forces a quick check-in so no one starts their task with the wrong info.

My friend's crew skipped their huddle last week and it was a mess... they spent two hours on a job before realizing they had the wrong materials. That's exactly what taylorc40 is talking about, starting with wrong info. Now they're back to the five-minute check and everything's on track again.
