Appreciation post: I finally started using a thermal camera on service calls
For months, I was chasing intermittent cooling issues on a specific fridge model. After I bought a basic FLIR One, I found a tiny hot spot on the compressor start winding that only showed up after 20 minutes of run time. Has anyone else had a thermal cam point them right to a problem that was a total pain to find otherwise?
